The waistband is made of natural rubber and organic cotton that Mr. Garner made custom. The body is made with 53% hemp, 47% organic cotton and 4% lycra....very breathable and soft and the strength and durability of hemp is unchallenged. They will last a long time and one does not have to wash them every wear as hemp is porous in nature and does not hold smells & antibacterial.
